The Training Years were marked by a number of changes within the company. Changes that resulted in a total transformation of how we do business, and what business we consider ourselves to be a part of. There was a complete reorganization of the company along financial lines. We lost our partnership with Mr. & Mrs. Pollard, resulting in a complete loss of the research and development funds provided by them. More time had to be devoted to fund raising, resulting in relationships with Domino's Pizza and Wendy's, among others. One of the most important changes was the acquisition of a contract to organize and print a listing of movies offered for rent by a local Radio Shack store. This provided the first real revenue for RHPcord Productions, and started us on the road to later success. This was also a time of adding a new department to the organization. The Accounting Department was added in 1992 with the addition of Roger H. Pollard, a recent graduate from Georgia State University. He immediately went to work to ensure that the company was following all proper accounting rules and making its best effort to comply with the complicated financial regulations. These years, while very trying, were imperative to the success and continuation of RHPcord Productions through our next phase, The Southern Era. |
